The Council of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has appointed Mr. Jeff Teye Emmanuel Onyame as the University’s new Registrar.
Mr. Jeff Teye Emmanuel Onyame is currently the Director of Academic Affairs, at the University of Cape Coast.
According to the statement, Mr. Jeff Teye Emmanuel Onyame’s appointment takes effect from 1st August, 2020. He will take over from the incumbent Registrar, Mr. John Kofi Nyan, when his term of office ends on 31t July, 2020.
The appointment was announced by the University Council after a Special Meeting held on 17th June, 2020.
A brief Profile of Mr. Jeff Teye Emmanuel Onyame
Jeff Teye Emmanuel Onyame holds a Master of Philosophy (Administration in Higher Education), and a Bachelor of Arts (Secretaryship) in addition to a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast. He also holds a Certificate of French Language Proficiency from the Centre International de Recherche et d’Etude de Langues, Village du Benin, Lome, Togo. His research interests are in Staff Recruitment and Retention, Academic Management and Student Welfare.
Jeff is a Professional Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC) of Ghana; a Professional Member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE); and an Affiliate of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR), Ghana. He is also a Member of the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA) and has worked as a professional university administrator at the University of Cape Coast for over 27 years.
Jeff is results-oriented, hardworking, committed to duty, pragmatic and an excellent personality.
