The awarding institution of the Accredited Public Colleges of Education in Ghana, University of Cape Coast (UCC) has released the final examination timetable for final year students across the forty-six (46) Public Colleges of Education.
Per the statement, final year teacher trainees will be writing their last two papers on Thursday, 2nd July, 2020 and Friday, 3rd July, 2020.
Trends in Education and School Management will be the first paper to be written on 2nd July, 2020 followed by Introduction to Guidance and counseling on 3rd July, 2020.

About fifteen thousand (15,000) final year students from the Public Colleges of Education is expected to sit for the examination across the country in July.
Previously, the final year examination is conducted in July ending, but due to the outbreak of Covid-19, it was later changed to 2nd and 3rd July by Institute of Education University of Cape Coast in collaboration with Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF), National Council for Tertiary Education (NCTE) and the Ministry of Education (MoE).
According to the current regulations at the education sector, a newly trained teacher is expected to write Ghana Teacher Licensure examination and later do one year mandatory National Service before being recruited by the Ghana Education Service. With this, before one writes the Licensure Examination, he/she is supposed to pass the final year UCC examination.
Final year students in Colleges of Education reported to school on Monday, 22nd June, 2020 to prepare for their exit examination since the closure of schools on Sunday, 15th March, 2020.
