UCC students advised to consider reading additional Language Courses

Mr. Ebenezer Aggrey, the College Registrar of the College of Humanities and Legal Studies of University of Cape Coast, at the day two of the three-day orientation program for fresh students has advised freshly enrolled students of the faculties to take into consideration taking supplementary language courses as part of their extra-curricular activities.

Mr. Aggrey believes that learning additional languages, as students plague various programs, has the capability of giving them more job opportunities.

“We must have a generation of students who are multi-lingual either of Chinese or the French language and that will be key for them because, in the 21st century, students need to be that versatile in order to be marketable and very productive as well” He said.

Mr. Aggrey emboldened the students to learn additional languages as a way of taking advantage of their time in school in order to suitable for many job opportunities that a bilingual person  can hold.
