UEW SRC President speaks on fatal accident involving UEW students at Asuboi

The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) President of the University of Education, Winneba H.E Felix Donkor has extended his deepest condolences to the family of students involved in the fatal accident at Asuboi.
Addressing the students of the University and the public through a broadcast video, Mr. Felix Donkor has communicated to the public about plans undertaken by his SRC led administration and commends the Management of the University’s active involvement in the incidence.

The SRC President in his address talked about challenges they are coping with in the school before the Sunday incidence.
He said, “It is quite unfortunate that in this economic hardship coupled with a distorted academic calendar due to the UTAG strike, students of the University of Education Winneba (UEW) have to be bombarded yet again with another sudden news about an accident that occurred on Sunday.”
Mr. Felix Donkor said, “The days are indeed challenging but the ultimate measures of a mind is not where it stands in times of comfort but where it stands but in times of challenges,” He encouraged.

The SRC sends their condolences to the family, friends and relatives of students who perished in the accident.

According to him, the SRC is available to support the victims of the accident in this difficult moment.
