Coalition of Unemployed Nurses and Midwives Association (CUNMA) has given the Ministry of Health led by Hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu up to the end of February to get them posted.
In a press release, the coalition indicated that, it is disturbing to note that, the Ministry of Health secured clearance for mainstream Nurses and Midwives, went ahead to post them excluding the referral batch of 2019.

The release indicated that, this is the first time such has happened and it is disturbing to know since it could serve as a presedence, incase no action be taken.
The Coalition also indicated that, they have taken all necessary steps to get the Ministry and other stakeholders attend to the challenge but have proven futile, with the excuse that, the Human Resource Director of the Ministry of Health is out of the country and that, they would have to wait for his return, something they described as taking forever.

The CUNMA further threatened to hit the streets incase the Ministry does not attend to their call.
