V/R: Female Pastor and 22-year old man allegedly conspired and killed a 12 years boy at Mafi-Dove

Information picked by Coverghana.com.gh disclosed that, a Female Pastor of Shelter Pentecostal Church known as Flora Ekpe allegedly conspired with a twenty-two(22) years old man called Dovi Tsidi, a citizen of Mafi-Dove to killed a young boy near a river connecting Aflukope, Aklaya, Kpogadzi and Mafi-Dove in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region.

In an interview with the Assembly Member of the Mafi-Dove Electoral Area Mr. Mosses Kwasi Awukuvi Danyevor, the murderer lured Kofi Kuzagbe Tsidi (deceased) who happened to be his Nephew to accompany him to an undisclosed place near a river side around the community in the evening of Sunday, 29th August, 2021.

According to him, upon reaching the place, the murderer (Dovi Tsidi) has forcedly twisted the neck of the young boy to death.

In the course of killing the boy, he shouted for help and immediately the youth of the community heard his voice and rushed to the scene to ascertain what was happening.

But, before they reached the scene, Dovi Tsidi has killed his nephew and cut off his head, hide the body under river weeds near a farmland and run away with the head to the residence of the Female Pastor (Osofo Mami).

According to him, the youth chased him to the Female Pastor’s residence using the blood droplets on his path.

Sources said, the youth, upon reaching the house realized the path of the blood droplets indicated that, Dovi Tsidi entered one of the Female Pastor’s room. When she was asked about the whereabout of the murderer, she denied his presence in her house.

The youth forced the door opened and saw the lifeless human head with Dovi Tsidi in Flora Ekpe’s (Female Pastor’s) room with fresh blood oozing out.

The youth added that, their preliminary intoragation with Dovi Tsidi confirmed that, he conspired with the Female Pastor to kill his nephew. He also revealed that, the pastor gave him the knife to slaughter/cut off the head of the boy.

The youth, elder and the Assembly Member immediately arranged for the Aveyime-Battor Police Service for their arrest.

Currently, Dovi Tsidi (the Murderer) and Flora Ekpe (Female Pastor) are in the Aveyime-Battor Police Custody in the North Tongu District of the Volta Region pending further investigations and autopsy.

Speaking to the Member of Parliament for the Central Tongu Constituency Hon. Alexander Gabby Hottordze, who followed up to the Police Station said, he first head the news on his Constituency platform. According to him, it came as a shock to him that, such an evil act has happened within his Constituency.

The MP said, the youth would have crucified Dovi Tsidi for instant justice but, since his constituents are law abiding citizens, they hold on for the Police Service to intervene. He praised the youth of the community for being patient until the Police came in.

The MP also called on Law enforcement agencies to swiftly investigate the case for Justice to previal.

Alexander Gabby Hottordze also appealed to the Youth of Central Tongu especially Dove, Aflukope, Aklaya Kpogadzi to remain calm as the Police Service commences investigation into the murder case.
