The people of the Kedzikope and its adjourning towns and villages will be relieved from open defecation along the sea shores as the MCE cuts sod to construct a modern toilet for them.
The Keta Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Godwin Edudzi Effah has cut sod for immediate construction of twenty sitter capacity water closet (WC) project at Kedzikope, a suburb of Keta in the Volta Region of Ghana.
The Municipal Chief Executive while addressing the people said, the project is part of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government measures to control open defecation along the sea shores of Ghana.
In an interview with the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Godwin Edudzi Effah indicated that, his Municipality is strategically improving on how to control open defecation at the beach and reduce such act to the barest minimum in order to attract all kinds of investors to the municipality which will then boost economic activities without and around the Municipality.
