V/R: Kpotame D/A Basic to hold sensitization program to combat teenage pregnancy & school dropout
Kpotame D/A Basic School
Management of the Kpotame D/A Basic School in the Kpotame circuit of the South Tongu District in the Volta Region is set to hold sensitization program to combat teenage pregnancy and school dropout in the Kpotame community and its adjoining communities.
According to the headteacher of the school Mr. Benjamin Dorgbetor, the program is intended to sensitize and educate young ones especially young girls in order to end teenage pregnancy and school dropout in Kpotame and its environs.
The theme for the program is “Ending teenage pregnancy in our communities; a shared responsibility”
The programme is scheduled to come off on Thursday, 24th August, 2023 at 10am prompt at the premises of the Kpotame D/A Basic School.
The catchment areas include Tefle, Kpotame, Agorgbe, Manyenu, Kasagblekpo, Forkpo, Amidekor, Kudorkope and Akudome.
The beneficiaries are parents, carr givers, adults, youths, students and teenagers.
Invited guests are the District Director of Education, the District Health Director, Social welfare Director, DOVVSU, Member of Parliament, South Tongu, District Chief Executive among others.
