Vacation date for Public Basic Schools across the country has been scheduled for Thursday, 14th September, 2023.
This date has been confirmed by the Ghana Education Service (GES) as stipulated in the revised 2022/2023 academic calendar for Basic Schools in Ghana.
According to the Ghana Education Service (GES), every school management must ensure that, Basic Schools vacate on the said date to give way for full commencement of the 2023/2024 academic year.
In regards to the proposed 2023/2024 academic calendar for Basic Schools, the reopening date is scheduled for 3rd October, 2023.
Meanwhile, management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) is putting together a comprehensive academic calendar for the 2023/2024.
