Afua Asantewaa, a participant in the Guinness World Record sing-a-thon, recently shared personal details about her life, including the fact that she lost her virginity at the age of 22.
During an interview with Fiifi Prat on Kingdom FM, Afua Asantewaa opened up about meeting her husband as a virgin. She explained that after completing her tertiary education, she worked at Live FM but later decided to pursue a job with better remuneration. This led her to consider a position at Daily Guide.
While at Daily Guide for a marketing role, her now-husband approached her and expressed his desire to be friends. Afua Asantewaa shared that they developed a friendship that lasted for four years before they became romantically involved.

When asked about her experience searching for a job at Daily Guide, she revealed that she did not pursue it further because she felt it wasn’t the right fit for her.
Regarding her journey to break the Guinness World Record, Afua Asantewaa stated that she is awaiting the completion of the review process. The Guinness World Record is currently reviewing her attempt, and she expressed her eagerness to receive their response. However, she decided to expedite the review by opting for a premium review, which she paid $750 for instead of the standard $650. This premium review promises a faster turnaround time of 1 to 5 business days.
Afua Asantewaa is hopeful that her record-breaking achievement will be officially recognized by the Guinness World Record, and she eagerly awaits the outcome of the review process.
