A Ghanaian rapper and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Madtime Entertainment, Kwaw Kese has taken a shot at government for using over $100 million dollars to build a national cathedral (church), which he thought could be use to build a proper hospital to treat people here in Ghana, when they get sick.

According to him, the decision taken by the New Patriotic Party government to build a national cathedral at the expense of a standard hospital is stup!dity to the highest level.

His comment was in connection with the government’s public announcement to have flee the Finance Minister Designate Ken Ofori Atta to the United State of America for medical treatment after he faces Coronavirus complications.

In a viral video, the “Dondo” rapper asked, why Ghana could spend over $100 million dollars to build a cathedral, but can’t use the same amount to build a proper hospital to treat sick people here in Ghana, rather than traveling to other countries?

According to him, it insane or stup!dity to flee the Finance Minister designate to the U.S.A for medical care since Ghana can invest in proper healthcare delivery.
