Former Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi has been seen campaigning for one of the flagbearer aspirations for the ruling New Patriotic Party, Kennedy Agyapong.

The lawmaker for the Assin Central constituency, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is currently campaigning across the country in his bid to lead the New Patriotic Party into the next election.

About Kwasi Nyantakyi

The politician has known the former football official for a long time, and he fiercely protected him after he was implicated in investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ exposé five years ago.

It will be noted that Nyantakyi was allegedly caught accepting financial gifts and buying influence in Anas’ “Number 12” exposé in 2018.
