The former Member of Parliament for the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency, Paul Collins Appiah Ofori says Nana Akufo Addo abandoned him when he became President.
Speaking in an interview with Jonnie Hughes on TV3, Paul Collins Appiah Ofori noted that, he supported and championed the current President of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo since the 2007 when he begun his Journey to the Presidency but the President abandoned him when he became President.
Paul Collins Appiah Ofori explained that, he is not happy about how President Nana Akufo Addo abandoned him because, former President John Dramani Mahama offered him an appointment in his Government but he declined because of his support for the New Patriotic Party and President Nana Akufo Addo.
P. C. Appiah Ofori further added that, he has written to President Nana Akufo Addo to appoint him to the board of the office of the Special Prosecutor but the President declined to his request and since then he hasn’t heard from the President again.
During the interview with Jonnie Hughes, P. C. Appiah Ofori said;
The way I championed Nana Akufo Addo, and put him out from 2007 up to the time he become President in 2016, I’m not happy about the abandonment. I’m not happy about the way Akufo Addo doesn’t know me again.
