Residents of Ho mob John Dramani Mahama on his campaign town
The people of Ho have mobbed former president John Dramani Mahama in the capital town of the Volta Region, Ghana on his way to the Paramount Chief of the Asogli State, President of the National House of Chiefs and Member of the Council of State Togbe Afede’s palace.
The incident took place today, Wednesday, 19th August, 2020 in Ho around the Ho Central Market Square.
The arrival of John Dramani Mahama in the town saw an uncontrollable crowd of market women, party members, sympathizers among well-meaning Ghanaians in party colours yearning for his comeback as the president of Ghana.

Some of the people were spotted in live videos with different kind of song some of which say “We go show Nana, Nana is tyrant, Akufo-Addo is a tribal bigot, Nana we are dying, JM Toaso, JM for 2020, Nana must go, Mahama we are sorry, Nana must go, JM and Jane” etc.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mahama has already toured the Southern parts of the Volta Region on Monday 17th and Tuesday 18th August, 2020 with similar crowd of people seriously yearning for change.

Volta Region is noted to be one of the strong holds of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) since the former president Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings regime. The love shown by the people of the Volta Region as observed by us is a sign of a competitive presidential race in the December 2020 polls if only such will be converted into real votes.

The Leader and Flagberear of the National Democratic Congress John Dramani Mahama began his tour to the Volta and Oti Regions on Monday, 17th August, 2020.
