Video: Robots Developed to Screen COVID-19 Patients

It is said that necessity is the mother of all inventions. Since the coronavirus pandemic broke out across the globe, many people have been doing their best as to how they can contribute towards the fight against this deadly pandemic.

In Ghana, some individuals have developed many pieces of technology to help in the fight in against the virus, such as locally made hand gloves, nose masks, automated hand sanitizer dispensers, face shields, ventilators among other things.

However, other African countries have also not relaxed in the fight against the virus as engineers in the Republic of Rwanda have also accepted the challenge in inventing equipment as they have developed a robot which is to be used screen coronavirus patients to help reduce the human interaction in screening persons that may come into contact with the virus.
