Ghanaian International Afropop, Reggae & Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has provided an explanation for his absence from Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak’s cook-a-thon event in Tamale.
In a viral video shared on Instagram by Failatu, the Reggae & Dancehall musician clarified that his absence was not intentional but rather due to a busy schedule.
Stonebwoy expressed that there was no deliberate intention to miss the cooking marathon and extended his apologies to both Failatu’s fans and his own. He attributed his absence to a demanding schedule, highlighting his engagements and referring to them as his “secret weapon.” In the video, Stonebwoy mentioned being near an airport while explaining his unavailability in Tamale.

Following her, Failatu’s impressive 227-hour cooking marathon, she expressed disappointment in an interview regarding the absence of certain celebrities, including Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, and Samini, at her cook-a-thon in Tamale.
Despite his inability to attend, Stonebwoy congratulated Failatu on her achievement and expressed confidence in her surpassing the current record. In a supportive tone, he applauded her for the accomplishment and acknowledged her breaking the existing record.
Failatu currently awaits the official review and subsequent confirmation from the Guinness World Records for her remarkable feat. The acknowledgment from the renowned organization will further validate her accomplishment and solidify her achievement.
