Videos: Logba, Hohoe-Golokuati road gets facelift

The most deplorable 22 kilometers section of the Eastern Corridor road has finally seen a face-lift to the greater relief of motorists.

The contractor, Greenhouse international said they would complete the renewed contract ahead of the 24 months schedule if government makes funds available.

What was supposed to ease transportation between the South and the North through the Eastern Corridor road has been a long nightmare. The construction of the Eastern corridor road to many motorists has been long overdue.

Until now the road construction which began over ten years ago have become unmotorable. Many motorists try to avoid the LOGBA, GOLOKUATI HOHOE Road and divert through Kpando or Leklebi due to the poor state of the road.

In April this year, green house international, contractors on the road  before the change of Government are back to site to complete the work. Some drivers who normally use the road share their delightfulness with Coverghana Media Network.

The Project Manager Carlos Lopez who spoke off camera said they will surely meet the project duration if only Government fulfilled their promises by paying them on time.

On the middle part of the Eastern Corridor road, the Contractor working on the Santrokofi to Jasikan road, Rolider are 75 percent complete.

Our news team have gathered that the Volta regional minister would be visiting the various road construction sites to engage with the contractors next week. We will you updated on latest development.
