The virtual program will be held on Saturdays between March 11th and April 1st, 2023, and participants will acquire coding skills and work experience. They will also be able to create a website by the end of the course.
Vodafone Ghana is committed to using its resources, expertise, and technology to help young people acquire new skills that will prepare them for the future of work. This initiative is part of the company’s efforts to empower young girls and bridge the gender gap in STEM fields, where females are underrepresented.
By providing in-demand skills to females, Vodafone Ghana aims to increase employment opportunities for them in STEM fields. The company has launched other initiatives in the past, such as the Discover Graduate Program, the Female Engineering Scholarship Program (FESSP), and internship opportunities, all aimed at equipping young people for the job market.
