Volta NDC congratulates Torgbui Fiti V on his election as President, Forum of Kings and Traditional Leaders of Africa

The Volta Regional Chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) wishes to congratulate the Paramount Chief of Aflao Traditional Area, Torgbui Adzonugaga Amenya Fiti V, on his election as  President, Forum of Kings and Traditional Leaders of Africa.

Togbui’s election is an honour to the Volta Region in particular and Ghana as a whole.

James GUNU, Regional Secretary in a statement appealed to Torgbui Adzonugaga Amenya Fiti V, to use his new role and influence to promote Africa’s indigenous culture and traditional values within the sub-region.

The Chieftaincy institution is one of the noble institutions that has  stood the test of time by positioning Chiefs as agent of development and custodians of our cultural heritage.

The Volta regional NDC wishes to pledge its  commitment  to working with Togbe Fiti V and other traditional leaders in the region  to pursue a rigorous transformational agenda for the volta region.
