WAEC explains why 8,486 candidates cannot access results online at WAEC website

The Examination Body, the West African Examination Council (WAEC) had explained why 8,486 candidates who sat for the 2022 WASSCE cannot access their results online at the WAEC website.

In a statement, WAEC explained that, management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) requested for some candidates results to be blocked online for failing to return teaching and learning resources.

Also, results of candidates who destroyed school properties while in school have been blocked on the WAEC website.

said, “following a request from the Ghana Education Service (GES), the results of 8,486 candidates who failed to return learning support materials supplied to them and/or destroyed school property cannot be accessed online at the Council’s website.”

Meanwhile, the affected candidates are advised to visit their schools for their results.
