The Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly under the leadership of Hon. Frederick Korankye, the Municipal Chief Executive, has procured a brand new Nissan Navara Pickup to help make transportation easier and to also help increase revenue mobilization in the Municipality.
The Wassa Amenfi East Municipal Assembly forms part of the Western Region of Ghana. Transportation issues in districts and municipalities for staff and other social services as well as business activities of the municipal are mostly issues of great concern especially in a rural area such as Wassa Amenfi East.
The vehicle was handed over to the unit in charge of revenue of the Assembly to aid them in their activities, make them more efficient and to generate revenue for the development of the municipality.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Frederick Korankye also entreated the revenue unit to put the vehicle to good use and handle it with care so as to increase the Assembly’s revenue for the development of the Municipality.
