WASSCE 2020: GES interdicts 3 teachers and Refers them to security agencies for investigations

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has interdicted three (3) Senior High School teachers who are invigilating the ongoing West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

The interdiction of the teachers followed the indiscipline conduct and an act of vandalism by some second cycle students identified in some schools in the ongoing examination.

In a press statement issued by the Ghana Education Services signed by the Director General Professor Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa, the three teachers interdicted have been barred from invigilation conclusion of investigations into their alleged roles in some of the reported cases.

These teachers include;

1. Thomas Anokye of Tweneboa Kodua Senior High School

2. Joseph Andoh of Secondi College

3. Evans Yeboah of Kade Senior High Technical School.

The interdicted teachers have further being referred to the security agencies for further investigations into the matter.
