WASSCE 2022 Timetable for School Candidates released

Management of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released the Final International Timetable to guide the conduct of the 2022 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.

In a statement signed by the Head of Test Administration Division G. Ohene-Mantey, the examination will commence in Ghana on Monday, 1st August, 2022 with the Visual Arts Project Work and end on Tuesday, 27th September, 2022 as stipulated by the Timetable.

WAEC has therefore directed heads and management of participating schools to ensure that, the information contained therein is disseminated to the candidates and all officials concerned.


Difference in Time on Question Paper and Timetable

Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be followed.

Question Papers to be given out in advance of the dates they are to be taken

1. General Knowledge-In-Art Paper 3

The question paper for General Knowledge-In-Art 3 will be given to candidates two weeks before the paper is due to be taken.

2. Project Work Papers

The question papers for project work for Basketry, Graphic Design, Leatherwork, Ceramics, Sculpture, Picture Making, Textiles, Jewellery, will be forwarded to candidates two weeks in advance of the examination. The exact date for the delivery of question papers to candidates will be communicated to them through their schools.

3. Extra Time for Candidates with visual impairment and hearing impairment.

Candidates with visual impairment and hearing impairment should be allowed one and half the time allotted to other candidates.
