We can’t fail our people; Let’s relegate partisan differences and build North Tongu

The Ranking Member on Foreign Affairs cum Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has pledged to work together with the newly nominated District Chief Executive of North Tongu Mr. Divine Osborn Kwadzo Fenu for the development of the District.

In a congratulatory message to the President’s nominee, Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa disclosed that, they have both pledged to relegate partisan differences and work together to improve living conditions of the people of North Tongu.

Mr. Ablakwa believes that, as MP and DCE, they cannot afford to fail the revered chiefs and great people of North Tongu, hence the need to work together to develop the area in the best interest of the constituents.

“I have this morning called the President’s nominee for DCE of North Tongu, Mr. Osborn Divine Fenu to congratulate him and to convey my very best wishes for the journey ahead.” Mr. Ablakwa said.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has nominated Mr. Divine Osborn Kwadzo Fenu to succeed the incumbent DCE Mr. Richard Collins Arku in his second government.

Mr. Divine Osborn Kwadzo Fenu was one of the eighteen (18) Volta Region MMDCE nominees who were announced by the Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Mr. Dan Kwaku Botwe at a press conference on Sunday, 19th September, 2021.

Dan Kwaku Botwe said, the full list of nominees have been forwarded to the office of Regional Ministers to liase with the Electoral Commission of Ghana to commence processes of Assembly Members elections for the confirmation of the President’s nominees.
