The Minister Designate for Communications and Digitization Honourable Ursula Owusu-Ekuful has happily announced that, about 90% of Senior High Schools in the country have been connected to free Wi-Fi.
According to her, her Ministry is working hard to replicate that in Junior High Schools but, the challenge now is how to replicate that in the Junior High schools as the Education Ministry seeks to introduce blended learning (a mixture of virtual learning and face to face) into schools.

Responding to questions at the Parliament’s appointments committee during her vetting, she said, the country needs to put in place infrastructure to support the free WiFi project in Junior High Schools to enhance blended learning in schools. According to her, achieving that is one of their priority areas.
