What is Nana Addo’s take on antî-LGBTQI+ bill?

A Netizen have questioned President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo to make his opinion known on the ant!-LGBTQI bill that is currently before the Parliament of Ghana for consideration and passage into law.

According to a Netizen, President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s opinion on críminalizing the activities of the LGBTQI community is still unknown but his lawyer Akoto Ampaw opposing the bill.

He said “So what’s Nana Addo’s take on this anti LGBTQIA+ bill? So far I no hear anything from him but I’ve seen his lawyer, Akoto Ampaw opposing the bill. Btw more grease to your elbow Hon. Sam George.”

ABOUT THE ANTÎ-LGBTQI BILL

Hon. Samuel Nartey George who is the member of Parliament for the ningo pram pram constituency and other seven Members Parliament are championing for a bill titled “The Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian  Family Values, Bill 2021” to be passed into law which is seeking to pr0hibit LGBTQ activities in the country.

However, President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo is yet to speak on this bill which is before Parliament for consideration.
