Cheetahs are big wild cats with dark spots and black stripes around their eyes that live in the forest. They are by far the fastest land animals with a top speed that surpasses that of all other species. Cheetahs are carnivores and belong to the Felidae species family.
As identified by wildlife scientists, a cheetah can reach 128km/h in just six seconds and they are faster than even the fastest human on earth.
Again research indicates that, a cheetah completes 100 meters in every six seconds and that is why it is considered as the fastest land animal in the world.
Cheetahs have long legs that are quite slim but are muscular in nature. They also have non -retractable claws and deep chests which allows them to sprint.
They do not drink a lot of water, and are the weakest among the big cats. It is highly dangerous and absolutely unsafe to keep cheetahs as pets because they are carnivores.
