The World Health Organization (WHO) has donated medical equipment and supplies to Ghana to help combat the Novel Coronavirus pandemic.
The medical equipment and supplies presented to Ghana through the Ministry of Health amount to $360,000.00.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the items are supposed to be distributed to Treatment Centers, the National Ambulance Service and selected Laboratories in regions with high burden of COVID-19 cases.
In addition to the items, the National Ambulance Service has also received some funding support of GHS 72,300 to procure fuel to transport COVID-19 cases to designated facilities in the regions.
