Your allegations against Okudzeto are borne out of ignorance – Abugri told

The Communications Directorate of the North Tongu Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has swiftly responded to allegations leveled against their Member of Parliament Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa by a Presidential Staffer of the rulling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, Emmanuel Abugri.

You will recalled that that, on 28th September, 2021, Emmanuel Abugri, in a Facebook post alleged that, the Membership of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has three (3) speed boats packed in his six (6) bedroom mansion in Juapong without using them.

In a the statement intercepted by Coverghana.com.gh, Emmanuel Abugri, a Presidential Staffer said, “The politics of a graduate without any working experience who now has 3 speed boats packed in his 6 bedroom mansion in Juapong because he is an MP, telling a man who started sitting in airplanes before he (Ablakwa)  was born as someone who is insensitive Ablakwa, we remember your green Golf 2 paaa. We used to push it for you.”

In responding to the allegations, the Communications Officer Mornyuie Kennedy and his Deputy Prince Zao said, the statements from Emmanuel Abugri against Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa are borne out of ignorance and an attempt to equalize the facts uncovered by the MP against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his corrupt NPP government in the recent times.

The NDC in North Tongu is calling on the general public to disregard the post on the facebook wall of one Emmanuel Abugri which has been extensively published by the traditional media and on various news portals. The post by Mr. Abugri was borne out of ignorance and from someone who is blinded by the hallowing plight of the general masses who are finding it difficult to have three square meal a day.

The party said, for the records, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa does not have a single bedroom apartment at Juapong talk less of owning a six bedroom residence with speedboat in Juapong.

The Communications Directorate went further to explain that, the people of Juapong and even the NPP executives and their party members within the Constituency know too well that, Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa does not have a residence in Juapong.

According to them, anyone who knows North Tongu constituency well, knows that you don’t need a speedboat from the Juapong side of the constituency to move to any other part, so this can only be coming from a desperate individual trying very hard to please his paymasters through the spewing of raw lies, that which has become the norm in this government.

The party therefore advice Emmanuel Abugri to look for a different target, certainly not the MP who doesn’t believe in materialism but the wellbeing of his constituents.

“Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa is admired by well meaning patriotic Ghanaians for holding the government of Nana Addo and Bawumia to the fire of accountability, the most recent been his exposure of the inordinate taste of the president H.E Nana Addo for hiring a luxurious jets as against the cries of the Ghanaians at a time when they are going through a lot of hardship though our presidential jet is in good condition.” They said.

Okudzeto sponsors eye surgeries and treatments for over 250 constituents

“We want to stress the point that, it is very ridiculous for a government to be thinking of buying a new presidential jet when the government has virtually sent our once booming economy into the intensive care unit.”

“The NDC in North Tongu is urging Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa not to relent on his pursuit of making sure the public purse is protected and the profligacy that has punctuated every sphere of the Nana Addo, Bawumia  led NPP government is reduced.”

They concluded by saying, indeed, the entirety of your constituents in North Tongu, Volta and Ghanaians at large are solidly behind you.
