The Management of Global 105.1 FM has officially announced the passing of their Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mrs. Dzifa Aku Attivor.

According to the station, the former Minister of Transport has passed on in the dying hours of Monday, 15th November, 2021 at the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC) in Accra after a short illness.

In announcing the sad news, the Global FM management said, grief weighs on their soul upon hearing the demise of their CEO.

According to them, Mrs. Dzifa Aku Attivor was a compassionate philanthropist whose boughs stretched across many a land and whose motherly benevolence touched humanity in immeasurable proportions.

“We ask that all should endeavor to keep her family in prayers even as we solidarize with them in grief.”

Dzifa Aku Attivor was born on 22nd February 1956 was a Ghanaian politician and businesswoman.

She was Minister for Transport in Ghana until her resignation in December 2015 due to a controversial bus re-branding contract.

She was appointed in February 2013 by former President John Mahama after the Ghanaian general election in December 2012.

She is the CEO of Global 105.1 FM and Volta 1 TV all in the Volta Regional Capital, Ho.
