You’re a fake Police officer destroying Ghana Police Service – A Plus fires Sup. Herbert Gustave Yankson
A Ghanaian Musician who has turned to a political activist Kwame Asare-Obeng popularly known as A-Plus has disclosed that, the Director of the Cyber Crime Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service Chief Superintendent Dr. Herbert Gustave Yankson has invited and immediately charged him for a breach of peace just because he swiftly replied one Asabee who directly insulted him.
According to him, the same police institution that charged him for a minor case couldn’t do same to the Special Development Initiative Minister Hon. Hawa Koomson who admitted to have openly fired warning shots at the Electoral Commission’s ongoing registration centre in Awutu Senya East Constituency.

A Plus was reacting to the chaos that ensued at a registration centre at Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East Constituency, where the Member of Parliament Honourable Hawa Koomson admitted firing a gunshot at the centre who claimed her action was to ensure the safety her campaign team.
Kwame Asare Obeng in his statement dragged the Chief superintendent Dr. Herbert Gustave Yankson into the muddy water and referred to him as a fake police officer who is using his police uniform to intimidate some ordinary civilians against others. He brags saying, he don’t fear the fake Dr. Herbert Gustave Yankson because, he has high professional police officers in Ghana Police Service who are his friends and know him better of his attitudes.

You see all these police men? A PHD holder who is supposed to make the Ghana police service better. You are the few officer who are destroying the Ghana Police service.
Me I don’t fear you and that your superintendent you are chopping in that your office. I have so many high profile police friends in the Ghana police service and they all know I’m a very nice person. When they see me do things like this they understand me. You are a very fake police office who thinks he can use his uniform to interpret the law to favor some people.
Somebody insulted me and I replied the person you said it’s breach of peace. So you arrested me and arranged me for court. People are firing guns in public but you are quiet. Fake police. Shame on you!!!
