Zachary Lane Bryan is an American singer-songwriter from Oologah, Oklahoma. His major-label first album, American Heartbreak, debuted at number five on the Billboard 200. Bryan was born in Okinawa, Japan, while his family was stationed overseas with the Navy, but grew up in Oologah, Oklahoma.

Bryan is the son of Dewayne Bryan and Annette DeAnn (Mullen) Bryan, and he has a sister named Mackenzie. Bryan enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 17 to continue a family heritage. He began creating songs when he was 14 years old and wrote music in his leisure time while serving in the Navy.

DeAnn, his debut album, was released on August 24, 2019, and was dedicated to his late mother. It was written in two months and recorded at a Florida Airbnb with his pals. Zach’s first public performance took place in Medford, Oregon in October 2019. He has subsequently had his Ryman debut, as well as other notable appearances. Elisabeth, the second album, was released on May 8, 2020. He made the album in a renovated barn beside his Washington house.
