The Ghana Education Service has released posting for Graduate Teachers who holds Bachelor’s Degree in Education to occupy vacancies in the Ghanaian classrooms ahead of official reopening of schools across the Country.
In a press statement issued by the Deputy Director-General Lawyer Anthony Boateng for the Director-General Prof. Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa, the Management of the Ghana Education Service has today, Wednesday, 6th January, 2021 announced the information of the appointment of graduate teachers.

According to the Ghana Education Service, the appointment is particularly for shortisted applicants/graduate teachers who have; Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Completed the one year mandatory National Service, Passed the Teacher Licensure Examination and Applied for recruitment into the Service.
Lawyer Anthony Boateng in statement said, the appointment letters can be accessed on www.gespromotions.gov.gh (a fee of GHE10.00 applies)

The Ghana Education Service has further directed appointees to report to the Regional Directors with their offer letters, certificates and other relevant documents for validation and further directives before reporting to the school.
Private schools require urgent assistance from government to ensure resumption of academic works
According to them, teachers have been deployed directly to fill existing vacancies in schools and repostings are not permitted.
