BREAKING: A teacher reported dead in his room in South Tongu

Coverghana.com.gh can report that, a Ghana Education Service (GES) staff in the South Tongu District of the Volta Region is confirmed dead.

Sources said, the hardworking Ghanaian teacher identified with the name Freeman Dapaah was reported dead in the early hours of Monday, 16th August, 2021.

According to his colleague teachers, he could not report to school this morning and efforts to check on him in his house showed that he was still in the room.

The teachers upon realizing that, forced the door opened and met the lifeless body of Freeman Dapaah in the room with blood oozing out of his mouth.

The staff and the community leaders immediately informed the police on the sudden passing of Freeman Dapaah (Deceased).

Freeman Dapaah was one of the 2018 batch of Trained Teachers from the Ada College of Education (ADACOE) who was posted in December 2019 to Agave D/A Junior High School of Agave Circuit, a suburb of Sogakope in the South Tongu District.

In 2018, he was deployed by the Ghana National Service Scheme to Anyidzekpo D/A Basic School in South Tongu where he did his one year mandatory National Service.

It’s very sad to know that, the young and promising teacher is called to glory.

According to sources, the body is currently deposited at the Sogakope District Hospital morgue, the District Capital of South Tongu for autopsy and investigation into his death.
