Information available to Coverghana.com.gh suggest that, the Ghana Education Service has began collation of data on the 2021/2022 beneficiaries of vehicle maintenance allowances and transfer grants for qualified GES staff.
According to the notice intercepted by Coverghana.com.gh, GES staff are requested to immediately apply to be captured under vehicle maintenance allowances and transfer grants.

VEHICLE MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCE
In reference to the 2017 Collective Agreement signed by Teacher Unions and the Ghana Education Service for GES staff, the following allowances have been approved for vehicle maintenance.
1. Car: GH¢210.00 per month
2. Motorcycle: GH¢70.00 per month
3. Bicycle: GH¢28.00 per month
KILOMETRIC ALLOWANCE
1. Car: GH¢3.50 per km
2. Motorcycle: GH¢1.40 per km

This forms parts of the approved rates of allowances for staff within the Ghana Education Service (GES) across the country.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PARTICULARS
According to the directive from the Headquarters of the Ghana Education Service to all District/Municipal/Metropolitan Directorates via the Offices of the Regional Directors of Education, qualified staff are to submit their particulars/documents to their various District offices for collation.
The notice further said, qualified staff are required to submit the documents to the District Personnel Processing Section Officer at their District Directorate.

SPECIFIC DOCUMENTS/PARTICULARS TO SUBMIT
A copy each of the following documents are to be submitted (where applicable).
1. Approval letters from Ministry of Finance and Ghana Education Service.
2. Transfer letter
3. Payslip of month of transfer
DEADLINE FOE SUBMISSION OF DATA
According to the notice, qualified persons are directed to submit their documents on or before Thursday, 19th August, 2021.

Meanwhile, the staff are kindly expected to adhere strictly to the Coronavirus safety protocols while at the Directorate (wear a facemask, etc.).
