The former President of Ghana and the Founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings laments bitterly over current happening in the party.
The fearless former president, out of frustration and anger said, the actions of Professor Kwamena Ahwoi and others may destroy the peaceful political party he toiled for.
The former President predicted this after a renowned member of the National Democratic Congress Professor Kwamena Ahwoi launched and published a book titled “Working with Rawlings”.
In the book, Professor Kwamena Ahwoi chronicles his experiences while working with the former President and the founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings.
The book after it was published has generated numerous debates and controversies within some big wings of the National Democratic Congress leading to confusion among them.
An aspect of the book which made reference to one of Jerry John Rawlings favorite Mr. Dan Abodakpi has incurred the wrath of the former president to react swiftly to Professor Kwamena Ahwoi.

Meanwhile, the former Communications Minister Dr. Edward Kofi Omane Boamah and the former Deputy Information Minister Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu have earlier responded saying, they are not part of young political class mentioned in Professor Kwamena Ahwoi’s book who were contracted to “Talk back” at former president Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings.
