The South Tongu Member of Parliament Hon. Wisdom Kobena Mensah Woyome has hinted that, the Adutor Health Centre will be converted into a Polyclinic.
According to the Lawmaker, it is his plan to have the Adutor Health Centre converted into a Polyclinic in the near future, and would need everyone to support him.
He further said, many health facilities in the South Tongu District need expansion, and gave assurance that, plans are underway to expand these facilities especially, Adutor Health Centre among others.
The MP disclosed this while speaking at an event where he handed over some expensive Hospital materials (medical items and consumables) to the Adutor Health Centre through the South Tongu Health Directorate of the Ghana Health Service.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Kobena Woyome said “It’s my aim to support the health sector for quality healthcare delivery. l have good plans for the Adutor Health Centre. Let everyone come on board to support the agenda to convert the facility into Polyclinic”

BACKGROUND
On Sunday, 24th April, 2022, Mr. Woyome made a donation of medical items and consumables to the Health Centre to augment the existing materials at the facility.
The MP disclosed that, the items donated to the Health Centre worth about Thirty-Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH¢30,000.00).

Some of the items comprise Torniquets, Urine Containers, Isopropyl Alcohol, Methylene Blue, Giemsa Stain, Hbs Ag (Hep B) Test Kits, HCV (Hep C) Test Kits, VDRL (Syphilis) Test Kits, Microscope Slide, Syringe ND Needles 2CC, Hairnets, Examination Gowns (H20 Resistance), Non-Contact Thermometers, Urine Pregnosticon Test Kits, Urinalysis Test Strips Combi 2, Urinalysis Test Strips Combi 10, Centrifuge Tubes, Syringe and Needles 5CC.
He encouraged the Health workers to make good use of the items for effective healthcare delivery, and also encouraged them to continue their selfless services to residents of Adutor and users of the facility.
