Lawyer Edudzi Kudzo Tameklo, a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) legal team has stated that, Mr. Yaw Kwakwa was sacrificed in other to appease McDan.
According to the lawyer Tamekloe, the Managing Director of the Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL) Yaw Kwakwa touched the untouchable.

Edudzi Kudzo Tameklo further indicated that, McDan played an active role in assisting President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in importing into the country, two South African mercenaries to train their vigilante groups and that makes Akufo+Addo indebted to McDan.
“While in opposition, Akufo Addo and Ken Ofori Atta imported into the country two South African mercenaries to train their vigilante groups.

“These mercenaries came to Ghana under the guise of coming to train security officers working in a company owned by McDan. Akufo Addo is indebted to McDan” he further indicated.
McDan aviation suspends operations
This came at the back of a letter, emanating from the Ministry of Transport, indicating the termination of the appointment of Mr. Yaw Kwakwa as the Managing Director of the Ghana Airport Company Limited.
