All you need to know about 2021 Sogasco Old Students Association Homecoming

Sogasco Old Students Association (SOSA) under the Presidency of Sur. Maxwell Kwame Lukutor has unvieled plans for it 2021 Homecoming on the theme “Achieving Academic and Social Excellence, the Role of Old Students”

According to the planning Committee, this year’s Homecoming will feature series of activities such as commissioning of projects, launching of Sogakope Senior High School’s 60th Anniversary, entertainment programmes and games among others.

The programme, according to the Association will feature key personalities within the three Tongu Districts, Volta Region and beyond including the Volta Regional Minister Dr. Archibald Y. Letsa as the Guest Speaker.

The Homecoming which was scheduled for three days will commence on Friday, 8th October, 2021 to Sunday, 10th October, 2021 at the school premises.

PART ONE (1)

FRIDAY 8TH OCTOBER, 2021

• 4:00pm – arrival of old students and registration on campus.

• 6:00pm – Meeting with School Authorities

• 6:30pm – Social Night with dinner at  Seman Hotel (Happovers)

SATURDAY 9TH OCTOBER, 2021

• 8am – 9am: Inspection of School facilities by School Management, NEC and CEC Members

• 10am – Main Durbar opening ceremony.

• Introduction of Chairman

• Welcome address by the Headmaster.

• SOSA President’s Message

• Launch of 60th Anniversary

• Fund Raising

• Unveiling of Plaque by the Volta Regional Secretariat Minister Dr. Archibald Y. Letsa

•Appreciation Message by HeadMaster

•Vote of thanks

• Special Guests will be refreshed at the Headmaster’s Office, Conference and staff common room

• Entertainment – 3:00pm Games (SOSA vrs Students)

PART FOUR (4)

SATURDAY, 9TH OCTOBER, 2021

• Dinner – 6:00pm -7:00pm Saturday night Supper (SOSA night) at Seman Hotel.

PART FIVE (5)

SATURDAY, 9TH OCTOBER, 2021

• Entertainment  – 7:00pm – 10:00pm Jam on Campus with students by Police Band from the Volta Regional Base at the Dinning Hall.

SUNDAY 10TH OCTOBER, 2021.

• 8am – 10am Thanksgiving Service with students

• 10am -12noon Evaluation meeting with all SOSANS and Socialization

• 12:30pm Departure
