Approved schedules for confirmation of MMDCE nominees in Volta Region

The Volta Regional Coordinating Council under the leadership of Dr. Archibald Y. Letsa has announced approved schedules for the Confirmation of Municipal and District Chief Executive (MDCEs) nominees.
The detailed schedule was released by the Coordinating Council following the announcement of MMDCE nominees List by the Minister for Local Government and Rural Development Dan Kwaku Botwe.
A total of eighteen (18) Municipal and District Chief Executives were nominated by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Out of the total, one (1) nominee is female while the remaining seventeen (17) are males.
Reports said, seven (7) of the incumbent Municipal and District Chief Executives were retained.
According to the approved schedule, confirmation of the president’s nominees will begin on Thursday, 30th September, 2021 with North Dayi, Kpando and Hohoe and expected to end on 4th October, 2021 with Ketu South, Keta and Anloga.
The Municipals and Districts were placed into six (6) categories of three (3) MMDAs for the confirmation.
