The Member of Parliament (MP), for Ashaiman, Hon. Ernest Norgbey, has inspected a three-bedroom accommodation facility he is building for the Municipal Education Director.
The project which is about 98 per cent complete and adjacent to the Community 22 Polyclinic at Ashaiman Newtown, is being funded from the MP’s Common Fund with additional support from his share of the GetFund.
A senior staff of the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly Saeed Bisharat Ahmed who works as the Municipal Works Engineer and some assembly members and staff and personnel from the Ashaiman Education Directorate, who were part of the entourage during the inspection expressed satisfaction at the rate of work.
Even though the project has delayed for about three years as a result of delay in the release of funds the MP said he is confident that the project would be completed and handed over to the beneficiary in mid August.
He also revealed that about GHc600,000 had been invested in the building.
