Biakoye DCE throws weight behind NPP Parliamentary Candidate Daniel Korsinah
The District Chief Executive of Biakoye in the Oti Region Hon. Comfort A. Atta, has noted that the fortune of the district lies in having a New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for the area who can effectively lobby the government.
She has therefore called on the people of Biakoye to vote massively for NPP parliamentary candidate Daniel Korsinah for the upcoming 2020 December 7 General Election.
The Biakoye Constituency which was curved 2008 has since remained the seat of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), but the DCE of Biakoye Comfort A. Atta believes the constituency’s development would be fasts track with an NPP MP who will be more comfortable to join forces with his own government appointees, the DCEs to develop the area.
According to her, while she may sound too political, it is a reality that confronts the political system at the district level.
She called on members of both the NDC and NPP who mean well for the development of the area to support her call to bring the NPP’s candidate Daniel Korsinah to became the MP for the area.
She was speaking to Coverghana.com.gh during inauguration of area council members in the district.
She was also quick to add that the current President would need another four years term to be able to satisfy the needs of all Ghanaians.
She task all unit committees and traditional leaders in the BIAKOYE District to help the Assembly to archives its Revenue collection target. She also outlined some ongoing projects by the government in the district.
