VIDEO : Boakye Agyarko declares intension to lead NPP in 2024
A leading Member of the Governing New Patriotic Party, Mr. Boakye Agyarko has declared his intention to lead the Party in the 2024 Presidential election.
Speaking in a video interview wit h Joy News, Mr. Boakye Agyarko break his silence on rumours that he is interested in becoming the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party in the 2024 election.

Mr. Agyarko explained that, in the year 2008, he was one of the persons who contested to lead the party into that years Presidential election and he has not given up on his objective and ambition to lead the party.
According to him, he believes that he has served his party well and paid his dues and that he is fit for purpose.
In 2008, I was a contestant, one of the 17, I stayed to pay my dues and I consider myself fit for purpose so will not resile from that ambition or that objective.
But at the end of the day, the grassroots decides. We have a party has never accepted correlation for impossition, it is never in our DNA and it is against our DNA.
Mr. Boakye Kyeremateng Agyarko is an economist and politician.
He once worked as the vice President of the Bank of New York and also as a Minister for Energy for the Republic of Ghana.
Mr. Agyarko was also a Campaign Manager of the New Patriotic Party in three regions; Savanah Region, Upper West and Upper East.
