President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo has made some comments surrounding the military take overs that are taking place on the continent of Africa.
Speaking on his current tour of the Ashanti Region of Ghana, the first gentleman of the land stated that the use of the ballot box to elect leaders in Ghana democratically has contributed to the stability in the country.
He further added that if people believe that a leader does not perform well, they have the opportunity to vote against that leader in four years during an election.
“Using the ballot box has contributed to the stability of our country. People believe that if a leader is not doing well, they can vote against that leader in four years’ time. We don’t need a coup to change someone.” President Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo said.
