Charles Andre Martinet is an American actor, who formerly portrayed the famous cartoon characters Mario and Luigi in the Super Mario video game series. He also voiced other characters in the series, including Wario, Waluigi, and their infant counterparts, before stepping down as a voice actor to become an official ambassador for the series.
Martinet is also noted for his roles as Paarthurnax in 2011’s The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Magenta in 2022’s Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. Martinet grew up in Europe and speaks excellent French, Spanish, and some Italian. He lives in the Netherlands with his partner.
