The Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) has directed it’s membership to resume work on Monday, January 24, 2022.
In a release, dated January 20, 2022, signed by the Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG Isaac Bampoe Addo, the strike action was called off after the National Executive Council of the Association reviewed its Memorandum of Understanding between the Government and CLOGSAG.
CLOGSAG had in an earlier post, directed it’s membership to embark on strike as they work to fight for better condition of service. The strike was expected to start on Thursday, January 20, 22.
The statement issued reads;
“The Nation Executive Council (NEC) of Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) at it’s meeting held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 had reviewed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Government and CLOGSAG.”
“The National Executive Council (NEC) of CLOGSAG has, therefore, decided to call off the strike.”
“All members should organize themselves and resume work on Monday January 24, 2022.”
“We are grateful to all our members for their support and the print and electronic media for the coverage of our activities.”
