There are Forty-six (46) Accredited Public Colleges of Education in Ghana currently.
Out of the total Colleges, six (6) of them have been affiliated to the University for Development Studies (UDS) to offer the Bachelor of Degree Programme.
The list of Colleges of Education announced by PRINCOF in collaboration with the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission with their respective courses are as follow;

1. Tumu College of Education – Primary, Early Grade and Junior High School Education
2. McCoy College of Education, Nadowli – Primary and Junior High School Education
3. Dambai College of Education – Early Grade, Primary and Junior High School Education
4. Gambaga College of Education – Primary, Early Grade and Junior High School Education

5. St. Vincent College of Education- Yendi – Primary, Early Grade and Junior High School Education
6. Al-Faruq–College of Education, Wenchi – Primary, Early Grade and Junior High School Education ( College offers Arabic)
