A total of fourteen (14) Accredited Public Colleges of Education out of the Forty-six (46) Colleges have been put under University of Cape Coast (UCC) to offer the Bachelor of Degree in Basic Education Programmes.
The classification was done National Council for Tertiary Education (NCTE) now Ghana Tertiary Education Commission in collaboration with Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF).
