“Constructed Keta Port”: Nana Addo-Bawumia government now allocates funds for construction of Keta Port Administration Block

Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, lawmaker for North Tongu constituency has revealed the letter from the Ministry of Transport having exclusive information about fund allocation for the construction of Keta Port.
President Akufo-Addo in March 2019 appointed Alexander Yaw Adusei Jnr. as the Director of the imaginary/non-existent Keta Port. However, according to an intercepted letter from the Ministry of Transport, the Nana Addo-Bawumia-led government is now allocating funds for the construction of an Administration Block (not the actual port) for the said imaginary Port, Keta Port.

Since 2019 till date, the Director of the imaginary Keta Port, Alexander Yaw Adusei Jnr. has been enjoying full salaries, allowances, official vehicles, and other mouthwatering perks of office at taxpayer expense for more than 5 years when already employed experienced staff of GPHA could have overseen the establishment of the Keta Port.
Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa disclosed the letter from the Ministry of Transport detailing the payment involved for the project to make the public aware of how the President is taking the citizens for granted on promises and delivery.
“2025 will be an interesting year for the law on causing financial loss to the state,” Hon. Okudzeto added.
