Controller Payment of Salary and Wages Dates for 2024
Controller and Accountant-General's Department (CAGD)
The Controller and Accountant General’s Department (CAGD) has announced the dates salaries and wages will be paid in 2024.
CAGD in their notice said 2024 Salaries and Wages of Civil Servants, the Ghana Education Service (GES), and all other Public Servants paid by the Controller and Accountant-Generals’ Department will be paid on the dates indicated below:
- January – 22nd
- February – 22nd
- March – 26th
- April – 25th
- May – 27th
- June – 27th
- July – 25th
- August – 27th
- September – 26th
- October – 24th
- November – 25th
- December – 19th

In addition, CAGD made it clear that various banks will start crediting the accounts of employees from the dates indicated above.
“Any change in the above dates will be communicated to the Ministries, Departments, Agencies, Assemblies and respective Banks,” CAGD added.
